Why do they say evolution happen over millions of years when you compare it to the speed of chemical reactions?

  • Evolution happens in populations throughout the world. It happens over millions of years because populations of living things have been around for millions (and billions) of years. Visible evolutionary change does not necessarily take millions of years, but the process has been going on for a long time, and it's the best scientific explanation for the evidence that we have.
Chemical reactions happen quickly, and slowly too. Chemical reactions sometimes take millions of years too.

  • How else will the existence of God be denied. There is no limit to what will be done to deny the existence of God. They say to believe otherwise is delusional. The attraction then becomes not wanting to be viewed as delusional as compared to being adorn by those that are suppose to be smarter than everyone else.

  • Billions of years actually and it's still going on...for example the appendix is getting smaller because we don't need it any more...another few million years and it will be gone...our jaws are getting smaller too...we don't need to bring down animals and kill them with our teeth and jaws. That's why some of us need to have our wisdom teeth removed...not enough room.

    Look it up yourself.....fascinating.
